Here a picture of my bike in front of a field with Tulips and other flowers.

 

This is in the Netherlands (Нидерланы или Голланский).

 

Winter is over. Nice weather for driving motorcyce will come.

 

Shall I drive to Ural mountains this summer? What do you think?

Do you really whant to drive in Russia?! Cool!

 

Last summer I`ve invite one motorcyclist from Marsele, France. He travel on old BMW with sidecar in Russia more than 1 month. We meet him in Perm on the street - talk a little and than I invite him to my flat. He Live and drive in Perm 3 days and take a lot of fotos and videos. Than he drive in Asia to Baikal Lake and comeback to France on the Train.

 

If you realy whant to have unforgetable trip to Russia - Welcome! You know - the roads are not well, but people - the best! :) A lot of the foregn bikers says so.

 

Do you look at map to make a road from Holland to Ural?! Maybe we can help you with some answers and road points.

 

Netherlands - Germany - Poland is too easy :) Than, you know - Belarus - very strange country, bot not for the foreiginers - good roads and people. I think you can do all needed documents per 1,5 months.

 

Than - Russia. If you whant to visit Moscow - also good, but Road Traffic in Moscow very hard to drive. I Think we`ll find some bikers to meet you there. Than - Nizhniy Novgorod - One of the niceless old city in Russia. Than - Kazan (It`s a republic Tatarstan - bad police but also not for the foreign bikers). Than - Perm & Ekaterinburg. Perm city locate in Europe (the last city in Europe) and Elaterinburg city locate in Asia (first city in Asia :). Beetwen this citys you will find the sign Europe-Asia!

I really want to go to Russia this summer. The route that I have in mind is thisone:

Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Ukraina. Then in Russia Volgograd Saratov, Samara, Ufa, Celjabinsk, Jekaterinbg, Perm!, Kazan, Niznije Novgorod, Kolomna and Orël. Then through Ukraina back again.

 

In the Ukrainian town Kosiv I will attend a bikerfestifal. Three days 6-7-8/7/2007. Then after that drive to the Ural. Are there any bikerfestivals end of july along the proposed route?

The bikeshow by the black-knives is 21-22 july. That was easy to find.

 

But I cannot find anything on the bikeshow in Irbit on uralmoto.ru. But my Russian is very bad so maybe I overlooked it. Can you give another link?
